I've been lazy and slow lately, but can you blame me? It's summer! How could I resist going out and enjoying the glorious time away from all things work? lol.

Anyhoo, here are some more Basquash screens from episodes 18, 19, and 20. The zip file for ep 20 is special cuz I downloaded it and took legitimate HQ screencaps instead of crappy web cuts. lol don't get used to it though... I just really like the new opening sequence and song, "Boku ga Boku no Mama" by The Spin, and I wanted to watch it without any of the lagging that I get when I stream it. I can't get it out of my head :3

My friend Christina got engaged this weekend. Given that she’s one of the biggest nerds I know, it was perfectly fitting that her boyfriend proposed to her in the nerdiest way possible:

Last night, Andrew arranged for us to play Magic with Lauren and Lisa, my two best friends up here in New York. (They were apparently in on the fact that he was going to propose, but didn’t know exactly how). I didn’t suspect a thing. We went out and got Fresco’s for dinner, and when we got back we started up a multiplayer game of Magic. I knew Andrew was playing a new deck, but since he gets a kick out of building and trying new decks, I didn’t think anything of it.

As play went on, I got pretty excited, since it seemed that my Angel deck was the best one on the board and I stood a good chance of winning. I was holding a Plains, Platinum Angel, and a Disenchant, plus a Swords to Plowshares I was planning to use on Lisa’s Timberwatch Elves when it came out next turn. Andrew, to my left, pointed out that he had four colors of mana out (red, green, blue, and white) and used them to play an enchantment. Knowing his fondness for really badass spells, I thought immediately of my Disenchant and hastily picked up the card to read it and determine if it needed to be destroyed.

I was so caught up in the game that I didn’t notice the name or the picture on the card. I started reading the rules text and immediately asked what an “Enchant World” card would do. Everyone was barely stifling laughter as they told me to keep reading. I looked back at the card and suddenly realized what was going on…

I laughed out loud at this part:

When I was able to look away from the card again, Andrew was holding out the ring and asking if I wanted to counter the spell. Of course, I refused to counter, and he put the ring on my finger.

I'm kinda hating how I moved back here after moving away. Everyone around me has friends that they've practically known since birth. I don't.
I'm happy that I've met everyone that I feel honored to call my friends. I'm just not totally loving the fact that I'm the odd kid out. It happens all the time, so I'm not sure why it bothers me that much now. Maybe I'm just tired. It is about 2 am... Meh.

This song, "Sanctuary", is another of Utada's songs, also made popular by the Kingdom Hearts series. This song is the opening song to the english version of Kingdom Hearts 2. The japanese version's opening song is "Passion". This song uses a lot of inversion (is that the right word?) in the lyrics. The last stanza, "wonk uoy naht noitceffa erom deen I", is "I need more affection than you know" vocalized backwards. Pretty nifty, isn't it?

So tonight's prom. *EXCITEMENT* sweet. Should be fun. If it isn't...well, let's just hope it is, or else heads will roll. (lol)
I finished the ACT test at Leuzinger High School around 12:30 today. Twasn't so bad. Long, but not nearly as long as the SAT seemed, what with all those alternating sections. This test just had 4 parts. That's it.

It's not easy, especially considering I really don't want to do it, I feel very tired (more than I usually do around 10:30 p.m.), and... wait. There is no third point. But I will repeat that I don't want to, nor feel like, writing a 5 - 7 page paper on some novel I've never heard of before I read it. Luckily, it's double spaced, typed, but the real trouble is figuring out how to word everything and organizing all the ideas and information floating around in my mind. That part is just guhh. Since I've actually finished my homework early in the day/afternoon, I've been watching Kingdom Hearts videos, mainly Deep Dive and the secret ending to KH2.

In regards to Deep Dive, I've known that after the BHK (Roxas) throws Oblivion to Riku, he still has a second Keyblade. However, I always assumed it was Sora's Kingdom Key. This is not the case. Roxas wields in his right hand none other than Mickey's Kingdom Key. And that leaves Mickey with whose Keyblade? His own? No. It actually looks like Mickey is holding Sora's Kingdom Key. O.O Why are the Keyblades switched? I have no idea. I just thought I'd record what I've discovered, because I've seen other people's analyses of the video, but no one has ever pointed that out. I feel special lol. ^_^

As for the KH2 secret ending (not the Birth by Sleep movie), the armored dude who would become frozen in the Final Mix version of the video carries his keyblade the same way in both videos. I still think it's a bummer that none of the armored Bladers wielded the 3 significant Keyblades in "Birth by Sleep" that they had obtained in the normal secret ending.

Wow. Too bad LJ doesn't let me embed the media player for easy viewing... But wth. Oh yeah... i spoiler warning !
This is the secret ending to Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix +. The music is beyond awesome and the animation is very pretty ^_^.
This is mainly here so that I can easily find and watch this in high quality (unlike those on YouTube...). But yeah... thought I'd share if anyone was interested.

And just a few thoughts for anyone who cares about this...
1) None of the characters are Sora, Riku, or Kairi.
2) I read somewhere that Roxas is not in this either, but I'm not sure. (That frozen dude looks so much like Roxas, it scares me. Cuz Roxas is the coolest...EVAR)
3) Wut the hell happened to all the armored people's SECOND keyblades that they picked up in the secret ending to the normal Kingdom Hearts 2? They could've kicked some major ass if they were duel-wielding, but NO. They had to pick up three well-known keyblades only to discard them before a big-ass climactic battle. WTF?!

my internet is only working at night after about 11:30. then it stops working during the day. how troublesome...
I have not been ignoring anyone here. Matter of fact, I have had no inernet connection for the past few weeks.
so yeah... it kinda sucks. I wonder if it's because of Adelphia's switch to Time Warner Cable?
